Artist Statement-
My work explores the relationship between the animal kingdom and mystical tribalism. With influences of Haring and indigenous Latin art, my characters are reminiscent of the demigods and mythical animal hybrids of lore in countless cultures of antiquity in a modern expression.
Ever since I was a child, I became enthralled by petroglyphs and religious iconography. What started as mere doodling became a spiritual transmission of discovery and transmutation.
As a society we are continually oscillating between the ephemeral self and the collective whole, it is here where the viewer is transformed into a multitude of alternate realities, pushing the boundaries of identity.

The Zoobenites
The Zoobenites are interdimensional entities, ushers of altered states consciousness existing beyond the veil, manifesting in a multitude of bestial forms. These benevolent and often mischievous creatures, phase in and out of our own reality, and each possess individual powers and properties. These collection of paintings amass an ongoing Zoobenites catalogue over a decade rich.
